Stephen King is an amazing novelist. Born in Portland, Maine in 1947 ,Stephen King continues to write short stories and novels as he has since the 1960’s. He wrote short stories for men's magazines until Double Day accepted his novel “Carrie” in 1974.
I was quite surprised that he turned 60 last year and has decided from now on he will celebrate his years backwards. So he will be 59 this year!
Other popular novels he has written are “The Dead Zone” 1979, the “Shining” in 1977, “The Stand” in 1978, one of my all time favorites “Cujo” in 1981 and another favorite “Christine” in 1983.
